Geared Up For Change was conceptualized in the summer of 2020 after many long talks in the hot summer sun with good friends, as we tirelessly worked along the shores of Canandaigua Lake.

After moving to Buffalo, NY for graduate school, and after seeing painful and public examples of the injustices that continue to exist within our communities, it became clear that taking a step to promote equity, diversity, justice, and inclusion was necessary.

The third, and this year's Geared Up For Change fundraiser, is raising funds to benefit Naples Youth Corp. a nonprofit that strives to provide all youth of Naples and its surrounding communities a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment to explore opportunities in education, recreation, and personal growth. Together, we hope to raise funds that help support programs and initiatives that directly benefit youth in Naples. Fostering positive growth and change is an ongoing journey that requires continued effort and action to help create more supportive and inclusive communities.
